My name is Laurie and I am from Dublin, Ireland. I have a passion for languages and am passionate about encouraging interest in the Irish language in particular. Whether you're learning Irish for fun or for school, I can provide the support you need with patience and understanding. We will learn at your pace, how you like to learn, and my aim is to make it fun and enjoyable, no matter what your level or your goals.

I will provide detailed support to learners needs in a stress-free and non-judgemental environment. Everybody learns differently and at their own pace and I will tailor lessons to individual students needs. I prioritise conversation practice – speaking and listening – as I believe it is the most effective way to learn any language and make it stick, though we can also use other resources such as books and articles to practice reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. A balance of input and practice using new vocab and skills.
