About Martina
I am an experienced Italian tutor of English and Italian as a foreign language with a Degree in Languages and Modern Literatures and teaching Italian as second language issued by Palermo's University (grade:105).
During my internship as a foreign language teacher, I taught Italian lessons to a diverse array of students of varying ages and abilities. Planned and organized hands-on activities that encourage active student
participation, involvement and team work and incorporated cultural and historical components and implemented a variety of teaching tools to accomodate all learning styles.
My communicative approach allows students to enhance confidence and familiarity in the language quickly and to use the language effectively in several situations (role plays).
Specifically, by listening to songs and watching TV series and interviews, ensuring my students can gain experience in cultural aspects related trough an easier method, not purely theoretic.
