Hi all! I am Alessandro, 29, and I come from Milan, Italy. I am a student of the ancient languages in Leiden but I have already given many private lessons in Italy. I am a linguist and I have taught classes all my life.

The difference between a self-learning book and an experienced teacher with a linguistics background is that a book will teach you how to understand a specific set of sentences, while after 10 lessons with me you will be able to understand and CREATE completely new sentences. The focus is set both on grammar and on oral comprehension. My advice is therefore to organize lessons of 90 minutes each in which 30 minutes will be dedicated to: - Grammar (how the Italian language works and how to translate) - Reading and listening (comprehension) - Talking (production), with me or other students. The price will also include: - Weekly Homework (if requested) - Lessons prepared on the specific needs of the students - Assistance 24/h about any questions you might have on Italian (and Italy!)
