About Lorenzo Massimo
I was born in Palermo in Italy but at the age of 13 my family moved to Cork in Ireland. Thanks to that I now speak English like a native. I have many passions such as books, video games, films, writing etc. that I practice in both English and Italian. This allowed me to get a large vocabulary in both languages. Furthermore, having learned a language from scratch, I am able to understand the path necessary for its learning.

I learned English without knowing half a word when I arrived in Ireland and my experience teaches me that the best way to learn a language is to speak it and expand your vocabulary little by little. Therefore I prefer to teach words and idioms without focusing on grammar. Also, I like to adapt to the student. I love movies and if I wanted I could show scenes from my students' favorite films in Italian and explain the translation. I can also recommend Italian music, especially rap being a fan.

Lorenzo is the best italian teacher I’ve had. He is very passionate about the Italian language and does a great job in teaching us about the Italian culture and traditions. I really recommend talking to him to improve and learn italian!! Grazie mille per tutto Lorenzo! :)
It takes a patient mindset when it comes to learning or teaching something. I find it easy enough to ask him any of my questions and usually am quite happy with the explanation side of things. Learning Italian from a native speaker, which I think is valuable for knowing the essence of every day speech and mannerisms. Plus it can give you a bit of cheat sheet on how to speak fluently eventually. He's good on communication and is chill, thrilled to have his guidance
