About Dave
Ciao, sono felice ti sia interessato al mio profilo, e spero di poterti aiutare a parlare e scrivere un italiano di alto livello. Un proverbio latino insegna: repetita iuvant (it helps to repeat). Se volessi fare una prova sarà un piacere. Since 2003 I have been giving Italian 1-on-1 lessons based mainly on conversation and repetition of structures to facilitate learning and spontaneous use of the language. My greatest success was teaching a fine and fluent Italian, with a full use of subjunctives and conditionals, to a 50-year-old German craftsman, using deep and accurate conversations. Teaching was not an activity that I did constantly, but I have always loved this type of dynamics and relationships. I enjoy it, it makes me feel good to teach my language to other people. I grew up and lived in north of Italy, between Torino and Bologna. Now I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I attended high school specializing in classical studies (Latin and Greek) and Italian. I studied Italian literature and anthropology at University, in Italy and England. I have had experiences in writing poems and short stories, and I worked in a press office for art and music events. My spoken and written Italian are pretty good. ;)

I think this is the exercise that most helps and strengthens the learning of a language. The teaching will be profiled on the needs and requirements of the students and on the linguistic context that interests you most. I will be happy to chat about the topics you prefer, and prepare lessons specific and functional to your interests and perspectives, to improve and make your Italian fluent. It is important to pay attention to details, to have the patience to correct and repeat, in way that certain mechanisms become natural and can be learned with practice and time.
