About Minka
I am a graduate of Bard College and Columbia University, where I received an MFA in Screenwriting. I have worked with Crimson Education as an essay mentor, guiding students through the college admissions process and helping students find their voice as writers. Writing is one of the things that brings me the most joy, and I love sharing that joy with other young writers.

I am a hands-on tutor with an accessible teaching style. I guide students through the essay writing process with patience and insight.
A typical first lesson will be spent evaluating the student's needs, questions, and concerns. Eventually, we will tailor a lesson plan that will help them achieve their desired outcome.
With a background in tutoring for academic essays, college admissions essays, and English literature, as well as a semester teaching an undergraduate screenwriting class at Columbia University, I am uniquely qualified to help my students succeed!
