About Mae

I am a japanese language student myself who has spent a year studying in Tokyo at Akamonkai language school. I am back in England now but I am still studying and improving everyday. I am currently up to a JLPT N3 level (as such will only be tutoring from an N5-N3 level) but next year I’m aiming for an N2. I want to share my passion and all that I’ve learnt as I know learning a new language is never easy. 一緒に頑張りましょう！

About the lesson

I would tailor each tutoring session based on what you need from me. For example, if you are more focused on general communication and speaking then I would start us off with a scenario (shop/work/school/causal chat, etc) and build from that (focusing on various vocabulary and expressions) and build that up into a conversation. If you’re more exam/passing the JLPT focused then the tutoring session would be very focused on grammar exercises, kanji practice and vocabulary lists. As an ex student myself, I have a vast range of books, materials, exercises (for listening, reading and writing) that I would use to assist our classes. Of course the main focus would always be what is most important to you and tailored to include the right kind of study and practice. I am able to assist with Kanji/reading/writing/listening/speaking so please don’t hesitate to let me know which area you need extra help with.
