About Eriko
Hi, Everyone!
My name is Eriko.
I am a qualified Japanese teacher.
I moved from Japan to Ireland in 2017.
Originally, I planned to study English in Cork for only a year and then return to Japan, but I loved living in Ireland so much that I decided not to go back to Japan and instead stay in Ireland.
I met my husband in Ireland, and now we live in Cork with our two children. I love camping and often go to Sligo.
I taught Japanese in several countries from 2013 to 2017

Hi Everyone!
My name is Eriko.
I am a qualified Japanese teacher and I have teaching experience since 2013.
I have been teaching Japanese to TY, 5th and 6th year at some local schools in Cork since 2017 and I have been supporting students taking the Japanese Leaving Certificate for 10 years.
Every year, I see students who start studying Japanese in their 5th year of Secondary school and obtain an H1.
In my lessons,
️We thoroughly practice oral exam together and do mock test every week in preparation for the LC oral that takes place around Easter each year.
we also conduct mock tests and the past papers every week starting in April for the essays, listening and reading comprehension test.
I will correct your essays during our lessons.
If you're planning to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the JET Program, I'll fully support you.
From 2013 to 2016, I supported students taking the JLPT in Japan, Vietnam, and Poland.
I also provide the Japanese lessons to Japanese children living in Cork on weekends.
