About Ingrid

I was born in Japan and grew up in both Japan and New Zealand, being native speaker in both languages. I have attended schools in NZ but also studied Japanese at Japanese schools.

Languages fascinate me because they are not just letters and vowels, but they also reflect culture, perspectives, and beliefs... learning a language can uncover lots of perspectives you've never seen before. I am excited to teach you that side of the Japanese language too!

About the lesson

Most importantly I will cater to your own needs, whether that be supporting your NCEA internals/externals or scholarship, or with your university assignments, or for your personal learning. I can also assist with beginner learning with Japanese of all ages.
