My guitar teaching approach is built on creativity, technique, and self-expression. I aim to help every student find their unique sound while developing strong musical foundations. With 5 years of experience, I guide students through essential skills like chord transitions, pick control, strumming patterns, and fretboard knowledge. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing each student to grow at their own pace. I use a mix of visual aids, ear training, and hands-on exercises to make learning clear and engaging. Technique is taught gradually, ensuring smooth movement, clean tone, and rhythmic precision. I emphasize understanding the instrument, not just memorizing shapes or songs. My sessions include practical applications—like learning riffs, solos, and full songs—to keep motivation high and progress steady. I especially enjoy helping students who dream of mastering stage performance or capturing the emotional depth of the blues. Through guidance, encouragement, and mindful practice, I help you play with both confidence and feeling. Together, we’ll build your technique, strengthen your musical identity, and shape your guitar journey into something truly expressive.

About the lesson

As a guitar tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, I strive to guide students through a complete and mindful learning journey. My teaching blends movement awareness through the Alexander Technique and mindful breathing to build comfort and control while playing. I believe that great technique begins with relaxation and presence.

Visual learners benefit from my use of diagrams and fretboard maps, which make complex patterns easy to understand and remember. I also incorporate auditory playbacks to train the ear and strengthen musical intuition. These tools together create a learning experience that is both structured and creative.

I help students overcome performance anxiety by using simple mindfulness and grounding techniques. Building confidence is as important as building calluses. Every lesson aims to nurture both technical precision and emotional expression.
