About Belle
"Music captured my attention as a child and never truly let go. You will find that my BMus Music Performance degree from the Royal Academy of Music informs every technical tip I offer.
I have spent 13 years teaching 473 students how to balance rigid theory with creative freedom. Chord voicing and hand independence are the primary pillars of my instruction. I emphasise jazz improvisation to help you think like a composer.
Rhythm and timing act as the heartbeat of everything I play. I still find myself practising for hours just to discover new sounds."

"A diagnostic playing assessment happens during our first meeting so we can pinpoint your current strengths and gaps. We will map out a custom learning plan that bridges the distance between your current abilities and your musical goals while ensuring we cover fundamental classical repertoire. Hand independence is developed through specific drills that feel like a puzzle for your brain to solve. You will learn to navigate complex chord voicing to make your playing sound fuller and more professional than before.
Jazz improvisation is introduced slowly so you can experiment with melody without feeling overwhelmed by the theory. Rhythm and timing become second nature as we play through pieces that challenge your coordination. We conclude by setting clear milestones for your future sessions so you always feel a sense of direction. This structured path ensures that your technique improves while your connection to the instrument stays intact, creating a solid foundation for your long term musical journey."
