I've been a professional musicians for over 25 years & I've performed at Ronnie Scotts, Dean street Jazz club, London Hippodrome and I've played with many of the UKs best Jazz artists & session musicians.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have a current DBS certificate.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I learnt at Middlesex Universty with Leon Cohen - one of the UKs most knowledgeable jazz musicians & arrangers.

I'm a professional pianist & arranger & I've performed with many of the UK's top jazz artists (Jim Mullen, Stan Sulzman, Gerard Presencer, Pete King, Derek Nash, Alan Barnes & many others) & played venues such as Ronnie Scotts,Hippodrome & Palladium.

- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Ba Hons in music and I taught at Middlesex University for 7 years. I currently teach at Sevenoaks independent School, where I've taught for the past 15 years.
- How much do you charge?
£40 ph in person, £25ph online
- Where do you teach?
I'm happy to travel to students' homes (Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & surrounding areas) and it may be possible for students under 18 to be taught at Sevenoaks School.
- When are you available?
Availablity is flexible
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach ages 11 and above. It's useful for students to have grade 5 classical piano before starting to learn jazz. If a student has an excellent ear this may not be necessary but a good knowledge of basic harmony, scales and a technical foundation is necessary.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I have a dual webcam setup with a separate laptop, music computer and Roland Rd700NX for teaching.
I use Skype or Google hangout and can update your music in real time using Google Docs in your student folder.
