About Annie
To be an English teacher I have to have a good command of the English language excelling in the grammar, spoken and written English. I hold a Diploma in Journalism and worked extensively in communicative English. I now hold a TEFL English teaching certificate and have been tutoring university students and higher certificate students.

I am an English tutor who teaches students from all walks of life requiring assistance with their assignments. I drill them in English grammar, written or spoken including literature. Usually we chat casually to loosen the student, and gradually use flash cards, videos and transcripts if I am using skype, then give them assignments to assess their grasp and understanding in the next lesson.
I have realised that one can go up to university level without grasping the English language and it becomes a challenge as assignments are done in English. I also teach business English to foreign students who want to perfect their English.
