About Ewan
I am a 21-year-old student studying Genetics in Trinity College Dublin. At 8 years old I moved into a Gaelscoil for 4 years where I learned first how to speak Irish before I fully understood the grammar and written language. Irish being a notoriously tedious written language, I believe that this made the language much easier to learn. When in secondary school at Sandford Park I participated in Gael Linn's Irish language debating for a number of years managing to make it to the all-Ireland final twice and winning it once. I am passionate when it comes to this island's language and want to do what I can to encourage people to break the stigma surrounding its use. We have a language of our own that is rich in expression, history and beauty. It would be my honor to get people involved so that they too can see this.

1 hour classes external of exams with an emphasis on spoken Irish
My goal:
To encourage people to have the confidence to use Irish in their day-to-day life
It's a very exciting time to be active in the Irish language, having conversations or even using simple phrases every day would mean a great deal to the future of this language. Is fearr Gaeilge briste ná Béarla cliste! (It's better to have broken Irish than perfect English).
