About Jasmine
As an experienced teacher, I work in close collaboration with my team: tutoring students at various levels within an inclusive and supportive environment; developing lesson plans; and providing 1:1 tuition for up to 6 students in each class. I also have experience working with SEND students using a wide range of resources that are differentiated to meet the needs of the students. I am assigned a specific group of students, which can also vary from time to time.

I aim to consolidate their learning: reinforcing the strategies that they have learnt; introducing new study-skills, which are shaped around the students’ individual needs. I provide a learner-centred, active based interactive learning environment, providing appropriate pastoral care and assistance, as required. I collaborate with the team to provide continuity, sharing ideas and action plans to develop the potential of each learner.
I encourage students to achieve their potential by stimulating their enthusiasm for learning and their determination to succeed. I am flexible, hardworking, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working in 1:1, small groups, and classroom settings.
I enjoy investing in the lives of students, watching them develop, becoming independent, and gaining more confidence. I encourage self-assessment and review, as well as marking their work, providing constructive feedback, and sharing approaches that they can adapt to progress to the next level. I develop tests that chart progress and encourage students to master individual units of subjects so that they can develop their confidence and self-esteem.
