I am a journalism student studying at Roehampton university in my second year. I have had a couple of weeks experience of tutoring my siblings and at secondary school, I have helped with teaching English classes. I will teach in a way that is visually appealing to the student I will also carry out assessments and I will record progression. My lesson structure will be the following: I will start with a lesson objective or lesson outcome. Each lesson will focus on a specific topic or subject. I will then explain that certain topic and will ensure that there is interaction involved. I will also have worksheets at the end to ensure that something has been learnt in the lesson. There will also be opportunity for feedback, I would like the student to let me know if I should be doing something differently or if my teaching method is not helping them.
