About Kara
I attended a gaelscoil for my entire education, meaning Irish has been my language of daily learning and communication from primary school right through to Leaving Cert. This gives me a natural, fluent command of the language, not just an academic one, along with firsthand, recent experience of the Leaving Cert Irish exam itself.
I am an active member of the Cumann Gaelach in college. This year I am the Treasurer.
I attended many Gaeltacht's over the years immersing myself in the culture.
I would love to support students in their journey of discovering the joys of being a Gaeilgeoir!

Lessons run for one hour, giving enough time to properly work through a full past paper section or a grammar topic with practice, without rushing. In the lead-up to exams, 90-minute sessions are also available for students.
Contrary to students who attended an English school, I was taught Irish very naturally which led to a lot of grá for the language. That is what I would like to instill in my students.
My lessons will offer :
- Past exam papers
- Grammar work
- Vocab work
- Oral exam prep
*I will not be able to do the Irish Leaving Cert syllabus as the Prose and material has changed. I can work on grammar and correct aistes for Leaving Cert though*
