In my free lesson, I try to get to know my students as well as possible, to see how they are, what they enjoy and etc. I then note down the topics they're doing & the topics they're struggling with. From then on I plan lessons. With religious studies, I do lessons on Philosophy, Ethics & just religious studies in general. (depending on what level they're studying at)
I have my own worksheets and resources and I use the worksheets or content they're given by their school. I like to do many mind maps with students and then get them to do practice exam papers or questions often to build that exam confidence & help them with timing.
If there's a student that hasn't progressed under my wing then I've failed, so I will always try my hardest to push the students, by checking if they're okay with everything, if I'm going at a good pace, and etc. and the rest is up to them.
