About Yuka

I grew up watching Hollywood movies and listening to many different types of music from a young age. I especially enjoy international films and music, though I also listen to some Japanese music. I also like Japanese comedy. I relieve stress by cooking, and there isn’t anything in particular that I dislike. I have a good relationship with my family, and if I had to choose, I prefer dogs over cats. My big dream is to work in the film industry, and I used to take acting lessons in the past.

About the lesson

I teach all levels, from beginner to advanced. I also worked as a Japanese tutor while living in Canada. I can help with everything from casual conversation to polite and formal Japanese. I like to make lessons fun and enjoyable through conversation. Lessons are available online or in person in Brisbane. Also, I speak Kansai dialect, which is a fun and unique aspect of my Japanese.

Deadly! Yuka-san is an excellent teacher who takes the time to get to know you and your goals. She is happy to accommodate your learning style but will also suggest supplementary methods that would be beneficial.

Her friendly nature puts you at ease making conversation practice a fun and comfortable experience.
