- Tell me about some of your current students.

I currently have a wide range of pupils from beginner to more advanced. I am teaching trombone, trumpet, euphonium, tenor horn piano, violin, recorder and music theory to all ages.

I am a passionate teacher based in East London, I have been teaching for 10 years and have vast experience as a private tutor, peripatetic teacher and also classroom teacher.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach all brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, french horn, tuba, tenor horn, euphonium, baritone, cornet), piano and music theory.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

BMusHons from the Guildhall school of music and Drama
MMus masters degree from the Royal College of Music
PGCE in Primary teaching from the Institute of education
Taught classroom music, peripatetically, individual, group and whole class teaching with a 100% pass rate in all ABRSM examinations.
Grade 8 distinction in Trombone.
Grade 8 in Singing and Piano also.

- How much do you charge?

Individual/ group lessons £32 hour
£16.00 for 30 minutes.
Discounts may be available for advance payments or siblings.

Travel £2 extra each lesson

- Where do you teach?

I currently teach at my flat, near Hackney Downs Overground station. You can travel by bus or overground from Liverpool Street very quickly.

- When are you available?

Usually available most weekdays/weekends.I can also teach most evenings. Times are negotiable and I am very flexible.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

All ages!
Any level whether you want to play for fun or do exams. I am happy to teach group lessons aswell as individual lessons

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I currently have two pupils that I teach online and am willing to discuss tutoring via Skype/ FaceTime.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I want you to enjoy playing and have fun whilst learning whether you would like to do exams or just learn for fun. I am happy to teach from the beginning, advanced level or if you are taking up the instrument after a long time. I currently have a wide range of students and I am sure I can find the right style of teaching to suit you. I am happy to give consultation lessons if you would like any advice or guidance.
