About Jia En

I believe that every student has the potential to excel, even in subjects that currently feel impossible. It is completely okay not to understand a topic immediately; that is where our work begins. I offer a supportive, professional environment where we will tackle your weaknesses head-on. My goal is to transform your uncertainty into mastery, guiding you toward your academic goals with clarity and confidence.

About the lesson

IGCSE & A-Level Tutor | University Teaching Experience

With over 2 years of experience as a private tutor and University Teaching Assistant, I specialize in guiding students through the rigors of IGCSE and A-Level curriculums.

My teaching methodology is strictly tailored to the individual. I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach; instead, I assess each student’s unique learning style to identify knowledge gaps.
My lessons typically focus on:

- Deconstructing complex concepts into manageable, bite-sized steps.

- Essay Mastery (History & Psychology): Collaborative drafting of essay plans and detailed reviews of written work to ensure arguments are structured for maximum marks.

- Strategic exam preparation, including drilling past year papers to master time management and marking schemes.

- Building confidence in areas where the student feels weakest.

Lesson Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours (Flexible based on student needs).
