About Amna
As a student myself, I understand how hard the education system has become. It's clear it's not catered for everyone but I believe that one-to-one tuition with a tutor who is passionate about their chosen subjects is beneficial for increasing confidence and engagement in pupils and the topics they may find difficult. I only realised the benefits of having a personal tutor when I received one-to-one help at University. It'll be even more helpful for students who are going through the crucial stages of their education, such as GCSE and A-Level. I chose a completely different path to what I studied in A-Level, but my skills are still there to help anyone who needs it. Essay skills and writing are what I am the strongest in, and often my friends have asked for me to proof read their work and personal statements. I also have a sister with Asperger's, so I am quite aware of the difficulties one might face with the condition in regards to education and will be of some help in achieving academic excellence whilst taking their needs into account. That being said, Asperger's is different in everybody who has it so some background information will be needed in order to act accordingly.

As someone who has experience in tutoring, I have come to realise just how important it is to cater to the needs of each student as everyone learns in their own way. I am willing to try many different methods in order to help my student find their own unique way of learning, one that will help them move forward.
