About Lillian

I am Lilian Li, from Beijing China. My native language is Chinese Mandarin. I have a PhD degree in Neurobiology. I obtained Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL) through International Chinese Teacher Qualification Training. I have seen many foreign students who are passionate about Chinese language and culture in my work. I hope to help them understand China through my efforts. I enjoy teaching and feel a sense of achievement when students achieve success in learning. I am good at communicating with various people, patient, fun and responsible. I will be happy to be your Chinese teacher to help you learn Chinese well and achieve your dreams.

About the lesson

I’d like to organize my online Chinese classes according to the learning objectives of each student. 1) First, before start of class, we will have a 20-minute online communication to understand your Chinese proficiency and your personal requirements. 2) Then we will work together to develop personalized teaching plans accordingly, including teaching content and teaching method. 3) Adjustments can be made at any time during the learning process based on actual learning progress and needs. 4) Introduce Chinese history, culture, religion, natural landscapes, etc. that interests you during the teaching process.

Megna enjoys learning Chinese. She is very intelligent and has strong learning and comprehension abilities. Her Chinese listening and speaking skills are strong, and she needs to improve her reading and writing skills. Actually, reading and writing Chinese characters are big challenges for the foreigners, however, as long as you practice hard, you can gradually master them step by step.
