About Meg
I’ve taught in public and private schools and privately tutored for six. I love working with individuals to provide targeted instruction. I aim to create lessons that are engaging and get students excited to learn! Reading and writing are truly my passion.

I've taught kindergarten and first grade for 19 years! I hold a degree in elementary education and master’s equivalent. I provide targeted instruction and focus on all components of reading (decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension as well
As writing). I aim to make it fun and engaging by incorporating phonics games, a creative writing prompt, and read aloud (used for print concepts, comprehension, and vocabulary) in each session.
