About Tate
I began training in 2016 while working towards my Sport and Exercise Science degree. My training methodology has evolved with experience and the ever growing body of research on human performance and movement.
My fitness journey began with Ballet, I danced two seasons with the Colorado Ballet Academy before a series of injuries ended my ballet career. I attended Seattle University and earned my degree and began utilizing my skillset in becoming a self coached NPC athlete. I currently compete at the National level within the NPC.
Since graduating college in 2019 I've continued my education through earning my mat pilates 1, ACE and NASM personal training, ACE group fitness, PPSC, J3U, and precision nutrition certifications.
I like to focus on basic movement mechanics and quality and intensity of execution over sheer volume. I've learned through my own athletic and fitness based endeavors that quality will forever be superior to quantity.

I specialize in 1:1 private training with an emphasis on weight loss, muscle hypertrophy, and functional movement. My lessons mimic personal training sessions with movements chosen to suit your goals and training environment, plus added value through written programs and education on any relevant topics of interest. (e.x. you want to learn how to deadlift and also have questions regarding nutrition and calorie intake).
My sessions are designed to meet any client working towards any goal. I have vast experience working with anyone from preteen elite ballet dancers, to 80+ year old cardiac patients.
