About Emily

I am a lawyer who is passionate about helping others succeed in their legal journey. I know first hand how challenging studying law and preparing for SQE2 can be, but also how rewarding it is once it all comes together.
I have a degree in Psychology, masters in Law, LPC and SQE2. I also bring practical experience from working in criminal law, civil litigation, employment and real estate, which allows me to explain concepts not just for exams, but in a real world context.

About the lesson

I offer tailored, interactive tutoring to help you succeed in your SQE2 oral and written exams, with a strong focus on structure, technique, and maximising your skills marks. How I can help you:
• Break down exactly what examiners are looking for in each skills assessment
• Teach clear, repeatable structures for written and oral tasks
• Improve your exam technique so you can perform under timed conditions
• Provide detailed feedback on mock assessments, with practical ways to improve
• Run realistic role-play sessions for oral exams, followed by targeted feedback I don’t just tell you what to do, I show you how to apply it effectively in the exam.

Personalised lessons: Each session is tailored to your needs. Before the lesson, you tell me what you’d like to focus on, and I’ll design a session to ensure you leave feeling confident, clear, and exam ready.

• Training contract application guidance
• Insights into how legal skills are applied in real practice

With my combined experience in legal training and practice, I can help you bridge the gap between knowing the law and demonstrating it effectively in exams.
