Hi! I’m Krystal, a native Chinese speaker from Beijing.

I’m an outgoing, curious, and easy-going person who really enjoys talking to people from different backgrounds. I studied for my graduate degree in London, and now I work in the tech industry in Beijing, so I’ve experienced both studying abroad and working in China.

I love travelling, photography, exploring different cultures, and having conversations about everyday life. I’m especially interested in how people from different countries see China and Chinese culture.

I believe learning a language should feel like having a real conversation, rather than just studying from a textbook. I’m patient, happy to explain things in different ways, and I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes and speaking more.

I’d love to get to know you and help you feel more confident using Chinese in real life!

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, relaxed, and tailored to your goals.

As a native Chinese speaker from Beijing, I can help you improve your everyday Chinese, especially speaking and conversation. We can practise real-life situations such as travelling in China, ordering food, making friends, chatting with colleagues, or simply having natural conversations in Chinese.
