I love to teach because I am passionate about problem solving. My experience surf coaching combined with my passion for languages and linguistics has lead me to academic tutoring.

I believe that motivation and creative approaches to learning produce success. I pride myself in finding ways to make learning relevant to the interests and preffered ways of learning of my students. Lessons are typically 50 minutes long. I have three years of surf coaching experience and 6 months experience as an English tutor. I have found my experience as a sports coach has been invaluable in English tutoring as it allows me to approach the learning from the perspective of what best suits and is relevant to the student.
