About Domenic
Hello, I'm Domenic. As a professional teacher, I am currently completing my five-year degree at the University of Leipzig in teaching language and biology. Additionally, I have experience in teaching. My first teaching experience was when I was 17 years old, teaching guitar. From that point on, I taught various subjects as a tutor or high school teacher. German is my native language, but I speak English fluently and am frequently living in England. At 18, I traveled to Japan for eight months. I tried to learn the language by myself before my journey and while living there. This experience taught me a lot about language learning as well. Except for teaching I love to do all kinds of arts like singing, playing the guitar, or writing.

In the first place, all my lessons incorporate the following aspects:

I'm not a big fan of the one lesson a week for 60 to 90 minutes, and then you're on your own for the rest. The cost of education should not be so high that you have to pay for two lessons a week either. This is the reason I created a learning concept to balance all the time and money that goes into learning with the needs of the learner. Basically, we won't just have one lesson a week but multiple, and instead of me being there for 60 minutes, I'll be there at the beginning and sometimes at the end. I can then focus on tailoring the course for you and giving you appropriate feedback rather than watching you do a simple grammar exercise that you do not need my assistance with.
Since we will be working online, we can use an array of tools and games to learn, such as Twine, an interactive story-telling program. I plan to create some escape rooms with this tool for example.
