About Jonathan
I am a passionate student of language and I believe words matter and can change the world! I'm a thinker and being able to communicate my ideas has always been extremely important to me. I have made use of my skills as a communicator and educator to navigate the professional and military worlds as well as construct arguments in my time in academia. I look forward to teaching you!

I can teach conversational as well as academic English in both speech and writing. I require my students to have some vocabulary and basic English knowledge, but enough to negotiate a purchase at a convenience store is all that's needed! I have an extremely solid grasp on the parts of speech, case and mood system used by English and I use these fundamentals in examples to illustrate the functionality of English, especially by comparison to other languages such as German, Russian and Japanese. I have a basic competence in Russian and French plus a limited ability in German. I am best with teenage to young adult students.
