About Jay
Hello. I’m half British, half Argentine. My dad comes from Argentina, so I was brought up in the UK speaking both English and Spanish. That gives me a unique edge in that I can teach Spanish in a way that English speakers can understand. I can make comparisons and point out differences, and this will help you learn faster.
I studied Spanish and Portuguese at university and have been tutoring for over 5 years now. I love how rewarding it is to help someone achieve their goals. Of the 21 countries where Spanish is the official language, I have been lucky enough to have visited 14. That means I can teach you different varieties of Spanish as well as culture.

My classes are fully tailored to your needs. In the free trial class, we’ll get to know each other. You’ll have the chance to tell me why you’re learning Spanish and what you want to achieve. I’ll then design the classes around your needs, so you can learn Spanish faster.
We can focus on grammar, vocabulary, conversation and pronunciation practice. If you’re learning Spanish for work, travel or to live in Spain or Latin America, I can adapt the classes to these areas too.
I am also familiar with GCSE and A Levels, so I can help you achieve a high grade in your exams.
At the end of each class, you'll get the chance to give me feedback. You can tell me what you like and dislike, so we can ensure the classes are perfect for you.
