About Lauren
I am Lauren, a doctorate-prepared nurse with 16 years of clinical experience and a former nursing instructor at the State College of Florida. I started as a diploma (ASN) nurse and worked my way up to a Doctorate. I provide professional, student-centered nursing tutoring focused on NCLEX preparation, medical-surgical nursing, perioperative nursing, and clinical, lab, and classroom readiness.
I am known for my ability to break down complex and advanced nursing concepts into clear, understandable explanations, helping students build confidence, improve performance, and succeed in both academic and clinical settings. My approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning needs.
My spare time can be spent with my two kids, my cat, and Netflix.

Deadly! Lauren was an incredible support for me during my last semester of nursing school. She really took the time to understand the actual concepts and PowerPoints I was learning instead of giving generic tutoring, and that made such a huge difference. She used practice test questions to help me prepare and think critically for exams, and she genuinely cared about my success.
