About Selsila
I’m a Law graduate who has also worked in the theatre industry, where I’ve developed strong communication and people skills while meeting and helping people from all different backgrounds.
I’m naturally outgoing and love culture, connection and learning. I enjoy meeting new people, discovering different cultures and learning languages myself — I’m currently learning Spanish and Turkish. Whilst speaking English and Farsi fluently.
Spanish was my favourite subject at school, and a big part of that was because I had teachers who made learning a language exciting and enjoyable. That experience stayed with me and inspired me to want to create that same feeling for other learners.
I want to make English something you genuinely enjoy learning, rather than something that feels like a chore. Through conversation, interactive activities and personalised lessons, I hope to help students build both their English skills and their confidence.
I love sharing knowledge, connecting with people and seeing someone realise that they’re capable of more than they thought — and that’s what makes teaching so rewarding for me.

Every learner is different, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our first lesson will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your goals and understand your individual learning style and areas you’d like to improve. From there, I’ll create personalised lessons designed around your needs.
Lessons will be varied and interactive, combining conversation practice, games, activities and different exercises so that learning stays engaging and never feels repetitive.
A key focus will be building your confidence in everyday English, with lessons covering day-to-day conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Whether you want to feel more comfortable speaking with others, prepare for travel, improve your English for work or simply become more fluent, we’ll work towards your individual goals together.
