About Jelani
As someone with a lot of nephews, nieces and younger cousins, I have always been someone comfortable with helping younger generations to improve their learning, particularly in areas where they need extra development. It has always brought me joy to be able to help them gain confidence where they have previously been struggling, and to see them progress and subsequently succeed in their studies. For this reason, I am keen to help as many other people as I can in a similar fashion.

I use a method of understanding and catering to the learning style of each student I work with. Once I have figured out how best a student absorbs information, I can tailor my teaching style around that. Pacing is also important to me, as I feel it is important each student understands the basics and each step or level thoroughly before moving on to the next. Lessons would be 1-2 hours long. I have previously tutored 11+ at AE Tuition, and have also tutored my nephews and nieces who are now between the ages of 10 and 16. Due to experience tutoring 11+, my primary focus would be teaching year 5s and 6s ahead of their 11+ exams. However, I am also comfortable teaching Maths and English Language up to GCSE Level.
