About Abby

Welcome! My name is Abby, and I'm thrilled to embark on this educational journey with you. As your tutor, I aspire to inspire confidence, establish legitimacy, and assure you of my professionalism.

While my academic journey has seen me achieve top results, it hasn't been without its challenges. At a young age, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. However, rather than letting it hinder me, I learned to overcome it. Now, I proudly tutor students in English, many of whom also grapple with dyslexia. My personal experience allows me to empathize with them, guiding them to view their learning difficulty not as a hindrance, but as a strength.

I'm passionate about empowering my students to take pride in their academic achievements. Beyond academia, I'm an avid reader and was once part of the high-performance athlete program at university. As a football enthusiast, I find joy in connecting with my students and learning about their passions outside of academics. As a Law graduate, who also achieved a 9 in GSCE English Literature and an A* at A Level.
