About Harshini
Hi, I'm Harshini! I recently graduated with a degree in law, and along the way I discovered that the skills that helped me most — careful reading, clear thinking, and confident speaking — are exactly what most people wish they'd been taught properly in school. That's what led me to teaching English, with a focus on reading comprehension and oration.
I believe strong English isn't about memorizing grammar rules or a big vocabulary list — it's about being able to read something and actually understand it quickly, and then say what you mean clearly and confidently, whether that's in a classroom, an interview, or a stage. These are the two areas I focus on most with my students.
My own background gives me a slightly different lens on this. Years of legal reading trained me to extract meaning fast and stay accurate under pressure, and mooting and presenting arguments in front of judges pushed me to get comfortable speaking clearly and thinking on my feet. I try to pass on the same habits to my students — practical, structured, and built for real situations, not just textbook exercises.
I work with students across age groups and goals: school students building reading habits early, competitive exam aspirants who need strong comprehension and verbal skills under time pressure, and adults looking to speak with more confidence at work or in interviews. Whatever your starting point, I keep sessions focused, track progress clearly, and adjust my approach to what actually works for you.

I'm a law graduate with a strong foundation in reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and public speaking — skills built through years of legal study, research, and moot court/debate experience. I now teach English with a focus on two things most tutors overlook: reading fluency and confident oration.
My approach:
Reading: building comprehension speed and accuracy, not just vocabulary — the same skills that let me read dense legal texts quickly and extract meaning under time pressure.
Oration: helping students speak with clarity, structure, and confidence, whether that's classroom presentations, interviews, or competitive exam interviews — drawing on my own experience with moot courts and public speaking.
I work with students of all levels, from school-goers building foundational reading habits to competitive exam aspirants (CAT/CLAT) who need strong verbal ability and comprehension under time constraints, to adult learners wanting to communicate with more confidence.
My teaching style is structured and outcome-focused — I set clear, measurable goals each session rather than open-ended "practice," so progress is visible and steady.
