I prefer a hands-on approach while studying with other students! I find it easier and less hectic to ease into the particular topic from the beginning. "What are we doing? Why are we learning this? What can we achieve from this course?" I also quite enjoy simplifying the course down as much as possible so that we have a very clear understanding of what we are learning, to later get into the nitty-gritty theory and case law. It's more successful that way for me, personally because it's far less overwhelming and daunting than throwing yourself into the deep end!
I'm a Bachelor of Laws Student with Maynooth University. I completed 3 years of my 4 year degree. My grade average is a 2.1, or second-class honours. I'm also in the middle of completing an online course, part time, in paralegal studies with the International Career Institute!
I was previously a H1 English student throughout my time in secondary school, and I am also a volunteer and content contributor for SpunOut.ie, so I have experience in writing. I also run a blog where I discuss topics of mental health and vital societal issues in the world today.
I am passionate about fundamental rights in Ireland. I am self-motivated in my work and I am excellent at getting other students into a good work ethic and routine.
