About Ofelia
I am a student studying law degree in the university of Sheffield. I am an international student from Taiwan which means my mother tongue is Chinese or Mandarin. I have experience in teaching children aged from 7-13. I volunteered as an assistant teacher teaching children living in rural areas math, Chinese and English throughout my high school life. I also have experience working as a private tutor teaching Chinese essay writing and English for eight months. I am quite patient in teaching since my students are often children at younger age.

My moto for teaching is “ find it and slove it”. I often teach children from the age of 7 to the age of 11. Children at this age are often inpatient or sometimes unconfidence in learning. I will teach them the basic including how the word pronounce ,the meaning of the words or maybe telling a story to get a better grasp on these words. Then I will move on to other more difficult techniques, such as reading a small passage then writing a sentence or a paragraph. I will have a small quiz on everything I had told the student. If there is a mistake, I would correct it with the children. I will always make sure that the student understands and is confident in the subject they are learning before moving to the next step. I am quite patient in teaching students since I have quite a few experiences in taking care of children and teaching them.
