About Rafael

About the lesson

* Are you a Junior Data Engineer or Data Science and would learn what to learn or do to be promoted to become Senior, Principal or Lead?. Like soft skills or how you coding could become better.
* Do you wonder how you python code could be better?
* Would you like to become a manager?
* Are you a manger and you would like to talk about how to organise your team, or mentor reports?, how to apply Agile methodologies?, how to have difficult conversations?, how to monitor performance?, how to give feed-back?
* Do you have a Data Science / Data Engineer large project but are not sure how to split it into tasks?, how to split the code creation in the most efficient way?. How to understand the delivery times and creation of milestones.
* Are you starting/eliciting a project but your are not sure how to solve the problem?. how to conduct a literature review? how to select the best options?
* Are you considering which degree to do? which master? which PhD?
* Are you considering which could be your next step in your career?
* Are you considering or transitioning from academia to a private company?
* Are you considering or transitioning from one country to the UK or London?. Would you like to talk about the job market, the tax system, the culture?
* Would you like to talk about Quantitive Economics techniques? Algorithm? how to analice surveys?, topic modelling ...

We could learn about what would you like to talk and create a plan of around 1 to 5 session. Probably each sessions could be 45 mins.

For instance:

* If you want to plan a project probably 1 or 2 sessions could be fine that week.
* If you are thinking more in changing jobs or carer transitions, probably more like 5 sessions, spread monthly could be better. For instance: 1) to set up the key points, pick up starting point, 2) follow up previous, work in another point, ... 5) evaluate the initial objectives, summarise takes aways and learning points.
* if you want to see how to improve some particulars in python: 1) session to share your current code, what would you like improve, set up initial points to cover for next session. 2) follow up, see improvement, discuss about the new techniques or ways to write python, select points to move forwards. 3) Follow up. Summarise the key learning, final points, and close.
