• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  My interest in marketing started from a simple curiosity, why do some brands stay in our minds while others are forgotten? That curiosity eventually turned into a career.
  
  Over the last 8+ years, I have worked across digital marketing, branding, business strategy, and entrepreneurship. Building my own ventures and working with startups, including ventures funded by Meta, Shark Tank-backed businesses, and billion-dollar companies, helped me understand that marketing is not just about advertisements; it is about understanding people, behaviour, communication, and growth.
  
  What excites me most about this field is that it keeps evolving. From SEO and social media to AI-powered marketing and analytics, there is always something new to learn and implement. That is exactly what I bring into my classes, practical, real-world learning rather than only theory.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My biggest motivation is seeing people become confident enough to build something of their own.
  
  Throughout my journey, I have met students, aspiring freelancers, business owners, and professionals who felt overwhelmed by digital marketing because of how complex it seemed. Once they understood the right frameworks and tools, everything started making sense.
  
  Teaching allows me to bridge that gap. I enjoy simplifying complicated concepts and helping people turn knowledge into action. Whether a student wants a job, a promotion, more clients, or wants to launch their own business, being part of that journey is incredibly rewarding.

• How does your work help society?

  Digital skills have become one of the most important skills of this generation.
  
  Through my classes, I help students, entrepreneurs, and professionals learn how to market ideas, businesses, and causes effectively. Many of my students have started freelance careers, personal brands, and business projects after learning these skills.
  
  I believe education creates opportunities. When people learn how to communicate, market, and grow online, they gain access to careers, clients, and possibilities that may not have been available to them before.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I admire Vaibhav Sisinty for the way he approaches marketing. He teaches that marketing is not about interrupting people; it is about creating value and building trust.
  
  I also draw inspiration from entrepreneurs and founders who build meaningful solutions rather than simply chasing trends. Their ability to understand people, solve problems, and create impact influences how I approach both marketing and teaching.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching and business, I enjoy reading about entrepreneurship, psychology, technology, and emerging trends in AI.
  
  I also enjoy mentoring young professionals, exploring new business ideas, travelling when possible, and observing how different brands communicate with their audiences. Marketing often feels like a hobby as much as a profession because I genuinely enjoy studying how people think, buy, and connect with stories.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One of my favourite moments as a mentor was when a student who initially joined with no prior marketing experience reached out months later to tell me they have got a job in the states and are starting Monday.
  
  Another memorable experience was working with aspiring marketers who were intimidated by concepts like advertising metrics, and campaign creation. By the end of the sessions, they were confidently launching campaigns, analysing performance, and discussing strategies like professionals.
  
  Moments like these remind me why I teach. Success is not only about completing a course, it is about helping someone gain the confidence to take action.
