About Joshua

I'm Josh, a passionate software developer with over five years experience of working at various tech firms around the world. I specialise in full stack application building and can show you how to build an entire app from the database structure to the front-end.

Originally from London, I have moved to the Sunshine Coast to be near my three year old son, Charlie. Currently, I am doing some freelance work and tutoring, if I'm not coding I'll most likely be surfing or reading.

About the lesson

These lessons are intended for people who want to break into the coding industry, but don't want to pay the high fees of a code camp! Ideally suited for people who:

- Want to get an tech internship and need to skill up
beforehand

- Are about to embark on a computer science/programming
degree or diploma and want to get a head start

- Are looking to break into the coding industry and need to
develop both the skills and a portfolio

The lessons will be adapted to each student, but generally the idea is to expose you to the full tech-stack, during which we will not only learn specific programming languages, but also build a portfolio that you can show to potential employers and/or universities.

Lessons can be conducted in person or over video and will include a mixture of theoretical and practical content. Homework will be given between lessons and we can work on any goals that you have together.

I also offer interview coaching, which involves coding test rehearsal and review. Included is advice on how to ace the entire application process, and support during your job search.
