About Joy
I am an experienced computer programming tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a strong record of guiding around 300 college students. I believe learning programming should be clear, structured, and practical. My approach focuses on logic building and problem-solving skills. My teaching methodology is focused on practical learning and clear understanding of computer programming concepts. I believe strong fundamentals lead to long-term success. Compassion and communication help students feel supported throughout their learning journey.
For Java, I cover OOP, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, collections framework, multithreading, file handling, JDBC, and basic framework concepts. I combine Java with SQL to explain real-world applications. Creativity and flexibility allow me to use examples, exercises, and projects. I focus on problem-solving, exams, assignments, and building skills needed for technical careers.
