About Isabella
I am a computer science researcher and technology educator that focuses on equity and change through the use of design. I graduated from vassar college and have been teaching design equity for 7 years. I have taught all ages including middle, high school and college. Currently, I am helping design a sustainable tutoring program for a local community college.

I teach an introductory level course for Equity i design. I encourage everyone in the field of design to take the course, as an introduction to using equity and liberation principles in your design practice. Some topics that we cover are:
- Different modalities of thinking
- How systems can enable/disable users (what is racism)
- How a modified design thinking strategy can help introduce equity
- How this new design thinking strategy can be applied to all context
