About Zeeba

I'm Zeeba Shaikh, a student of Literature and Philosophy. Besides a student, I'm an artist delving in the world of digital art and theatre. I am an avid reader, yet I'm equally enthusiastic about movies and graphic novels.

I am always eager to learn more about different cultures and heritage and I'm originally from Kolkata, currently residing in Ahmedabad. Because of my diverse upbringing I can fluently speak English, Hindi, Bengali, but I have basic understanding of Gujarati. I am fond of learning new languages as they help you bond with foreign cultures, so I'm currently learning French and Japanese.

About the lesson

I'm an Undergrad Student majoring in English Literature, here to help you learn the Language as well as the Literature.

I have a deep understanding of the language not only because it's my major but also because of my affinity towards it. Two of my papers have been published in Academia Letters:
1. Age and Madness in Yeats' An Acre of Grass.
2. Charles Lamb and Urban Romanticism.

I have done a course over summer in Contemporary British Fiction from Oxford University which has created a deep understanding not only in Contemporary British Fiction but also helped me see Indian Literature in a new light.

I would love to teach you from my unique experiences and learnings, and help you achieve the grades you admire by also conforming to the traditional syllabus (incase you're a school student).

If you're a school student, 1 class every week would be sufficient to maneuver through your school syllabus, and learn new topics related to the subject. (i.e., 4 hours every month)

My teaching would be curated based on your needs and style of understanding. After the class you should have a clear understanding so that you can also build your own opinions, and start reading up by yourself.

If you're aspiring to take up Literature/Philosophy as your major or any other humanities subject, I suppose I have a lot to share with you. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
