About Christopher
My teaching career started in Middle Tennessee, took me around the world to countries like Japan, Hungary, Chile, and Taiwan, into the heart of Silicon Valley, and now to Southern California.
Teaching is my passion and seeing my students improve their communication skill is incredibly rewarding. I started teaching in university, in the education program of MTSU. After graduation, I left the USA for Japan to teach in the JET program. After 4 years of teaching English in the Japanese public school system, I went to Budapest to earn my CELTA and continue teaching. Next came Chile and then Taiwan where I earned my Master in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from TCNJ. My wife and I decided to move back to the USA where I taught at St Giles International in San Francisco and then joined EPAM, an IT consulting company with roots in the ex-Soviet Union.
Right now, I am based in Southern California and looking for students to work with, teach and inspire. Join me.
