About Ruby

Hi. My name is Ruby. I grew up in the UK and at 18 became fluent in a second language (French). I'd love to help you do the same through tailored English lessons that grow and develop as you do!

My official teacher training (TEFL), alongside 3 years tutoring experience and a BSc in Anthropology (from University College London) , have evolved my teaching style and equipped me to provide engaging, efficient, and personalised learning programmes for each student. Whatever your goals or background, let's embark upon this journey together!

About the lesson

Learning a second language can seem impossible – I'm here to prove to you that it is not. Having developed my own skills from beginner to advanced, I guide students to find the learning style that best suits their unique needs, aiming to strike the perfect balance between the structure required for progression and allowing each student their unique learning path.

The best way to learn is to enjoy the process, so each class can be tailored around topics that interest you, while comprising the essential components of language acquisition to keep you moving forwards. Equally, my native fluency in English is invaluable if you wish to understand how native-speakers 'really' talk, and I would love to share British culture with you.

I'm here to best serve your learning needs and offer a flexible schedule to accommodate that – I understand that life happens, so if you need to reschedule, no problem!
