About Ray

Bonjour! I’m Ray, a passionate French tutor who believes learning a language should be as enjoyable as a fresh croissant on a Sunday morning. (I'm also French so it helps) With years of experience teaching French to students of all levels, I combine clear explanations, real-world practice, and just the right amount of dad jokes to make sure you actually enjoy learning. Whether you’re starting with "bonjour" or brushing up on your passé composé, I tailor every lesson to your pace, goals, and vibe. My secret weapon? Patience, puns, and pronunciation hacks that make tricky French sounds feel totally doable. So if you've ever said, “I’d love to learn French… but I’m terrible at languages,” don’t worry. You haven’t had a lesson with Prof. Ray yet. Let’s make French your new superpower — one laugh, one lesson, and one “ooh là là” at a time.

About the lesson

Bonjour! I’m Ray, your future favorite French tutor (yes, even if you still pronounce “croissant” like “cruh-sant”). Whether you're prepping for Paris or just want to impress people at wine night, I’m here to make French fun, friendly, and slightly less terrifying. No judgment, just laughs, learning, and maybe some baguette jokes. From "bonjour" to "je ne sais quoi" – I’ll get you there, one pun at a time. Real learning. Real results. Real Ray. Let’s conjugate and caffeinate – en français.

Ray was my math teacher for 5 years—and somehow, he made numbers make sense (most days). His love for math was contagious, his explanations were always clear, and his belief in me never wavered—even when I mixed up my x’s and y’s for the hundredth time. He didn’t just teach equations; he taught confidence.
