About Szilvia

My motto is that you can teach fashion design effectively if you are part of it on a daily basis. New technologies, new shapes, and trends are changing at a rocket speed, you can have a realistic expectation about the whole business if you gain knowledge from industry experts. Beside working for the UK and EU High street retailers and brands I was teaching as part-time tutor for more than 20 years, I have a clear understanding of how to motivate and push forward students to find their own voice as fashion designers.

About the lesson

As a start, I offer you a 30-minute free consultation, so we can get to know each other and clarify your goals. Before our meeting, I will ask you to send your portfolio or a few sketches if you are on a beginner level. Homework and exercises are a crucial part of my tutoring, you can only thrive in fashion design with lots of practice, this is not a theoretical business:). I will permanently evaluate your work so you will have clear feedback to support and encourage you to grow.
