About David
NJ Certified K-12 Science Teacher (including all AP courses)

I taught practically every science course during my teaching career, including AP Chemistry.
I was a Computer Teacher for 14+ years, and my technical skills with computers gives me distinct advantage over most other online tutors.
I tutor math and science online 20-30 hours a week. Most students who start with me, stay with me through the end of the school year.

I am a kind, patient, NJ Certified Chemistry/Biology Teacher(retired) with 26 years public school teaching experience, including teaching AP Chemistry.
What sets me apart from most other tutors is that I am an EXPERT at EXPLAINING complex concepts.
As a professional teacher, I know how to uncover the difficulties specific to each individual and guide them toward success.
I am kind. I am patient. I work hard to help you understand complex problems, and then be able to solve them on your own!
· Different students have individual strengths and weaknesses, and I customize my tutoring for what works best for you.
· I break down concepts to their basic components and then show you the logic behind solving a problem/question.
(And I give you guidance based on your instructor's requirements & test/grading formats).
My goal as a tutor is that every session should be a positive learning experience.
Just because a person has good knowledge of a subject does not mean they can explain it in a way that makes sense to you. (Most college professors & graduate students have NEVER had a EDUCATION course).
