About Anna

I am an energetic, patient and caring teaching professional with a university degree in teaching English, History, Philosophy and Psychology. Also, I have successfully tutored more than 20 students! With over 5 years of teaching experience I have worked with a vast range of students, aged 3-60. Further, I have an excellent ability to remain good-humoured and patient. Based on my university education, teaching experience, and language skills, I am excellently qualified for teaching English and German as a foreign language.

About the lesson

My teaching method is communicative language teaching, which involves focusing on the 4 language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and on teaching grammar and vocabulary in context. This makes language learning more useful for real life and is also more fun than simple translating! It means that you can really engage in meaningful communication (oral and written), while at the same time improving your skills. Depending on the purpose of your language learning, I can adjust the lessons to focus on particular skills, topics and text types (e.g. business, travelling ...).
